There are a variety of portable printers and mobile scanners on the market, but there are rarely portable devices that combine both features. HP has now come up with what it claims to be the world’s first and smallest mobile all-in-one printer. The HP Officejet 150 enables mobile warriors to print, scan and copy on the go.
The all-in-one printer comes with built-in wireless Bluetooth so users can connect and print from a phone or tablet easily. A 2.36-inch colour touchscreen lets them navigate the printer functions to scan or copy documents directly to a PC, USB drive, memory card or e-mail. The printer is also capable of printing 4 x 6-inch borderless photos.
Powered by a lithium-ion battery, the printer has the ability to print up to 500 pages when fully-charged, according to HP’s specs. The printer is also green, automatically powering down when it is idle to save energy and extend its battery life.
However, the ability to print, copy and scan on one device while on the go does not come cheap. HP is asking for S$599, when the Officejet goes on sale at retail stores from 20 December 2012.
